Victorian Regional Channels Authority

If you’re out boating in the Geelong area, remember to:

Large vessels must keep within the marked channels and anchorage areas but there are about 800 visits by large ships every year.

These big ships are unable to alter course or stop very quickly, and always have right of way when travelling in the channels.

So always be safe and keep a look out on the waters.
